This is one of my favorites songs of all time, it's simple beautiful.  

This song tells you that when your about to give up, just keep holding on and push through the hard times and hopefully everything will work out. My friends and I have been through a lot of hard times in our lives, and this song always reminds me that there is still hope, that I need to keep on fighting and never surrender.

Jobs

Today, I had to talk about four jobs: What they do, where they do it, and what kind of personality a person has to have to be one. This is gonna be fun!

Headmaster of  Hogwarts

 

What is his job?: His name is Albus Dumbledore and he's in charge of Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He makes sure that all the students and fellow professors are safe from Voldemort and the Death Eaters. He's also the leader of "The Order of the Phoenix"

 

Where does he do it?: Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

What kind of personality does he has?: He is gentle, helpful, misterious, wise and intriguing.

 

 

Mechanic (Papa Bear)

 

What is his job?: His name is Burt Hummel, and he's a mechanic and the best father ever. He's the best mechanic in his city (Lima, Ohio) He protect his son Kurt from all the bullying he faces from being gay, and most important of all, is that he always makes sure to show is undying love to his son.

Where does he do it?: In his business "Hummel's lube and oil" in Lima, Ohio.

What kind of personality does he has?: Loyal, kind, righteous.

Gold Saint

What is his job?: His name is Camus and his job is to defend Athena from her enemy Hades, he's the guardian of the themple of Aquarius.

Where does he do it?: Temple of Aquarius, in Greece.

What kind of personality does he has?: Calm, cunning, stern, smart.

Blood Spatter Analyst (Serial Killer)

What is his job?: His name is Dexter and he's a forensic blood spatter analyst, he analize blood from crime scenes to obtain very important information, like with what object the victime was killed, the distance, etc. He's also a serial killer who preys on other murderers who have escaped the justice system.

Where does he do it?: In the Miami Police Department.

What kind of personality does he has?: Calm, inteligent, frivolous, machiavellian

My mission is to describe four outfits! I honestly didn't remember if it was ourselves or other people, but I choose the last one because: 1) I don't have too many pictures of myself and 2) Is more fun! :D

About Two Songs

Teacher Doris ask us our opinion about the next two songs, she wanted to know what do we think about them. The songs are Price Tag from Jessie J and Billionare from Travis McCoy. These are my opinions:

Price Tag is quite a good song, and the lyrics made you think a lot. True to be told is, that now everybody is always thinking about money. How to make more money, how much money this is gonna cost me, sorry I can't go out because I don't have money, etc. A few years ago, that wasn't such a big problem! People just loved to spend their time togher, eating, dancing, playing or just walkin. Yes, the times are more difficult today than years ago, but is important to remenber that the money shouldn't control our lives.

Billionaire not only is good song, it also was cover by the Glee Cast, so I'm gonna use their version, because I like it better :D

This two songs talk about money, but Billionaire, is not only about "forgetting the price tag" but rather "helping people". What would you do if you were billionaire? Would you just keep it all for yourself and be a egoist pig, or make something good and awesome out of it? That's what this song is about. Meaby if I have the chance of being in a similiar position, I would like to belive that I'll do something similiar, because life is hard, but at least I have a lot of things that other people only can have in their dreams.

Daily Routine

I was a little bit busy, and that's why I take so long with my homework. Anyway, here it is! 

Every day I get up at 5:30AM thinking that I hate waking up so early and that I want to keep sleping, after I convince myself that there is nothing I can do about that, I go to take a shower and get dressed for the day. Sometimes I go to the kitchen and eat breakfast, but usually I just eat on URBE.

I leave my home at 6:00AM and take the bus that drives me to the university, If it's a good day the ride is short, meaby 20 minutes, but occasionally It cant take forever to my destination and arrive at like 7:20 or something.At 11:00AM my last clast finish and I can return to my house. I normally take again the same bus to leave, but very frequently one of my friends offers to leave me at my home. 

My mother is always working so I make the lunch (chicken, meat or pasta) at 01:00PM. After that I take a little time to relax and watch tv or play some videogames. I study everyday at least one hour, but sometimes some subject can be a little bit annoying or difficult, if that happens the time studying can increase to two or three hours.

When my brain can not continue processing information I take a break and eat something (jelly, cereal, chocolate, etc). At 05:00PM to 07:00pm I'm in my computer chatting with my friends, downloading my favorites series, watching a movie or something.

I star making dinner at 08:00pm and wait until my mother came back home, normally at 08:30PM and we eat toghether. I take a last bath because I just cant sleep without one, and finally go to bed.

Bonus: If the day is friday, then I try to listen to this song all day, just to annoy my friends.

Random: Music recomendation Part II

Since in the last class we where doing the exam, I though that this is a good oportunity for another Random Music Recomendation yey! :D

The last time I posted a sad song from the movie Donnie Darko (I saw it today in the morning, it was very awesome! Twisted, bizarre and strange, but great) and now is time for Adele! Holidays and Celebrations

Teacher Doris ask us to do 3 holidays and celebrations: One personal, one local and one international. This are the topics that I choose.

Personal Celebration: My/Friends Birthday

Like I already said in my previous post, I usually go out with my mom and we have lunch on Tony Romas or another site of my election. But the most awesome part is to share it with my friends. We infact have an tradition: Since my friend The Sloth (My friends are shy, so I'm gonna call them by their nicknames) and myself have very close birthdays (2nd and 9th of February) we celebrate them togheter. We reunite in someone house (Normally on The Rabbit's House or The Weasel's House) and spent all the day there.

 This was my favorite birthday gift of this year, is a poster of my favorite actor Chris Colfer and my birthday card.

If we don't buy a cake, we make it ourselves. Then we make lunch togher (but if we are tired, we gave up and go out to buy something) and decorate the place with ballooms and posters of our favorite things. Our oldest tradition, and the most awesome of them all is that we made homemake birhtday cards, in wich we write something special for the birthday girl.

Local Celebration: Holy Week/Easter

In Venezuela, Easter is the holiest of Christian period that happens on Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday. During this period, is when you live more intensely in Christianity, since in this time commemorating the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We celebrate holy week almost exactly like our birthdays, wich is kinda funny and unoriginal of ourselves. This year we made a sleep over in The Rabbit's House, we spent all the day doing a barbecue of: Chicken Skewers, Yuca, Rice, Russian Salad and Vodka. (The Sloth and myself were joking that it was a "Catholic Barbecue" because all the other girls didn't belive in eat meat.) We watched anime and played a lot of Metal Slug a very old, but awesome videogame.

International Celebration: World Cancer Day

For the international day, I didn't want to write about Christmas, so I did a little research and found this celebration, wich is very important because is something that almost no one knows about. World Cancer Day is marked on February 4 to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. It is led by the International Union Against Cancer, a global consortium of more than 350 cancer-fighting organizations in over 100 countries.

Special Days

My favorite month of the year is February, not only because is my birthday, also because it was in february when I met my most amazing and loving friends. My birthday is on February 2nd I was born 1991 and I'm 20 years old.

My favorite day of the week is friday, because I don't have classes the next day and I can go out and come home late if I want. and my favorite day of the year is February 2nd. I usually eat whatever I want! that can be a very cold Smirnoff and an awesome birhtday cake! normaly I go out to have lunch on Tony Roma's with my mother.

Yeah,  I love traditions and especially if they are so tasty.

Her favorite day of the year is her birthday on June 25th. She usually eat cake, all her family celebrates the day on her grandparents house. She was born in 1993 and righ now she is still 17 years old.

What do you like doing? What things do you like? Love? Enjoy?
I like to go out with my friends and do whatever we can. Like playing videogames, going to the movies or just drive around the city. I like anime and manga, a lot of american series like: House, Glee, Dexter just to name a few. I love to sleep all day, eat delicious food with my friends and rainy days.
 

What things you don’t like? Hate? Can’t stand?
I don't like too many bright colors, I don't like to exercise at all, I don't like the crowds. I hate with all my soul regeton, vallenato or bachata, I can't stand those sounds without wanting to kill myself. I hate the sun of Maracaibo and the fact that life here is becoming so expensive. I don't like to wake up early, I don't like to go to my uncle's house on sundays because they only play domino, and nothing else.

What is your dream? What do you want to do with your life?
My dream is to travel to USA and Japan, specially to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando. I want to graduate and be a very successful lawyer, I want to make my friends and family proud of my achievements.

What’s your opinion about English? Do you like it? Is it important? What do you do to study English?
I think that learning english is something very important, specially in these times. Is the one of the most spoken languages around the world, and the key of being successful person.

And now I would like to introduce all of you to one of my oldest and special friends of my life:

 In this picture he doesn't look like a very "bright" and cheerful person, and that's because he isn't.

He's name is José Zambrano, he's from Maracaibo too. He's a student from UNICA's   university and he's 26 years old, and lives on La Concepcion. 

He likes AV/Film productions, photography, videogames, board games, and musical production. He likes to draw, Listen to heavy metal music, and doing photo sesions with his camara. He hates Junkies, the Maracaibo public transport, empty persons and  turkeys.

 And he's right, who wouldn't hate this mess? Is just awfull.

For him english is a business, militar and social language and very important for anybody nowadays. He, like myself learned english empirically by listening music, reading and listening dialogues in english.

 

Random: Music recomendation Part I

I think that it would be kinda cool If I post more things, and not only my homework for the class. Because of that I want to start my "Music Recomendation" I'll post very diferents songs, meaby you guys have heard one or two.

Today I was helping two friends of mine with a project, and in the car this song started to play. Is a little bit sad, very melancholic. The piano is just beautiful and the lyrics are pretty good. Is the last song of the movie Donnie Darko wich I want to see.

Welcome to my Blog

Hello everybody, this is my new blog and I did it for my english class. My teacher Doris Molero ask us to give it a try, It's awesome so far.

In this blog I'll post my homework for level 2. I'll use it to practice my writing, listening and reading. All my classmates are more than welcome to look at this, my window in the net. And of course, all the people around the world.

My name is Gabriela Cohen, but my friends call me Gaby. I'm from Maracaibo, the land of plantain and domino. I live in Maracaibo, Valle Frio. I'm 20 years old and I study Law at URBE. Right now my favorite subjects are Roman's Law and English. I'm taking 5 classes and currently I'm in the 2nd Trimester.

I Love: Listening to my favorite music (almost everything from the Glee Cast, Maroon 5, and Muse. I also like JRock) playing with my Playstation 2 (I'm a proud gamer, my favorite games are Final Fantsy VIII and God of War) go out with my friends (they're like a second family to me) working on anime and manga events on my city, eating pizza, sushi and a lot of candys. I love my dog Maximo a very dumb (He likes to play with a brick) but loving German Shepherd.

I Hate: Cinnamon, listening to vallenato, regeton or bachata. Gettin up early everyday, hypocrisy, liars, people smoking and idiots who don't know how to drive, but they do.

My Kryptonite

My Dream: Is to graduate and become an awesome lawyer, to be able to have a beautiful home and a decent car, tavel to the US and Japan, I want a Husky wich I'm gonna call Kurt and  a peaceful life.

About English: Always have been something special to me, when I was young I had a Playstation 1 and the only game that I had was in english, so I took a dictionary and started playing. Also, I liked the Backstreet boys and Spice Girls back then, they helped me a lot. My favorite tv show back then was Friends, so I always was listening stuff in english. 

And I think that's all you need to know about me, I'm a very easy going person and very humble. I hope this blog can be of help to anybody, see ya!
